I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right Lyrics

Baby, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Darlin, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Baby, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Cause the devil come out and
Take you for his own x2Long brown hair and tall brown boots
You came across the bitter roots
Finally take what you knew was always yoursI was glad to go along
I didn't think it'd be so long
Til you were bored and on to the next big thingI could be wrong, I could be right
You and I are so much alike
The devil tryin to keep us far apart
Now I was stoned and I was high
But everything, it felt so right
I could be wrong, I could be, could be rightBaby, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Darlin, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Baby, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Cause the devil come out and
Take you for his ownBaby, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Darlin, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Baby, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Cause the devil come outSacagawea, big medicine
Had a thing they need my stand
When they finally saw the western sea
I was glad to go along
Cause the best laid plans are always wrong
They come apart, they always end in miseryI could be wrong, I could be right
What we do is all so right
They should be left to keep us far apart
I was high and I was stoned
I didn't want to be alone
Is that so wrong? Is that so wrong?I could be wrong, I could be rightBaby, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Darlin, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Baby, don't ya go,
Don't ya look down in that hole
Cause the devil come out
And keep you for his ownI could be wrong,
I could be right
What we do is all so right
They should be left to keep us far apart
I was high and I was stoned
I didn't want to be alone
Is that so wrong? Is that so wrong?I could be rightI could be wrong,
I could be right
I could be wrong,
I could be right
I could be wrong,
I could be, could be right x4

Cracker is an American alternative rock band fronted by Camper Van Beethoven singer David Lowery, with guitarist Johnny Hickman. They are best known for their hit songs "Low" and "Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)".

The band's website once noted Cracker as "The only band to ever open for both Grateful Dead and Ramones," a unique distinction which is also indicative of the band's sound and style. Cracker comfortably mixes influences and sounds ranging from classic country music, psychedelia, punk and folk into their brand of "Americana" style rock.

Lowery and Hickman are inalterable constants. The band continues to tour (as a full band, and also as the "Cracker acoustic duo"). Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
